Real Direct Payments for Children

We think direct payments are good for everyone as they give families more choice and control over their child’s care and help social workers feel more confident about delivering good outcomes for their clients.

So, we want to help you support parents and carers to understand, set up and manage direct payments for their disabled child’s care and support.

As well as supporting you, we can work with the family to help them every step of the way as well.

This means we can come with you on visits to help you explain direct payments, and we also work directly with the families to help them think about the care they’d like their child to get, who from and how they would like to manage everything.
