The staff working on this project will be on leave from 4pm on Friday, 17 December and will be back in the office on 4 January.

If you would like to get involved in one of our workshops in 2022, and share your experience of accessing health services during the pandemic, we would love to hear from you. The workshops offer a chance to help shape future health services and information for all disabled people. For more information about the project, and to express your interest in attending one of our workshops, contact us at

Taking Control of Your Life ‘TCOYL’

This project has reduced staff availability from Friday, 17 December and will close at 4pm on Friday, 24 December, reopening on Tuesday, 4 January.

Our next workshop, ‘Creating Your Own Care Plan’, will take place on January 25th. Led by disabled service users, this session will cover approaches that have enabled us to co-produce our support plans with social workers.

We will also be releasing an easy-read guide on direct payments in collaboration with a learning disability organisation and the borough’s personalisation team.

To get involved or get support, please contact and our team will respond to you upon our return.

We want to include everyone, no matter what their access needs. If you have any access needs for online meetings, viewing PowerPoint, or taking part in group discussions – please just let us know. This is in confidence and so we can talk to you in advance of the workshop about how we can adapt things to meet your needs.

We look forward to hearing from you!
