How you can get help and support in the meantime

If you need any help and support with your direct payments you can still contact Real until this decision is formally made. To do this you can call our Independent Living Service helpline. See below for contact details, times of opening, and calling us in Bengali and Somali.

Get the help you need

We can usually answer your question straight away. If you have a detailed query, eg you want to recruit a PA, we’ll work out who is the best person to help you and get them to contact you. This might be your previous worker or it might be someone else. But don’t worry – the person who helps you will have your information, so you don’t need to explain your situation all over again.

Help in your language  

You can get help in Bengali/Sylhetti and Somali as well as English. The table below shows on which days you can get support in your language.
